These past few months have been challenging and mentally exhausting to us all. We have been on such an emotional rollercoaster with all the events in our country that hearing this news today came at the perfect timing and has truly lifted my spirit.
This past Wednesday was going to be our first season rehearsal, one that I always look so much forward to after our summer breaks. The thought of seeing all of you and making music together as if nothing happened has left me quite emotional. Our weekly rehearsals are such an important source of joy in my life that I must admit, I have been experiencing "growing apart pains" from the reality of the pandemic and lack of music-making. The bucket of tears that I have been holding back has just let go. I couldn't feel more grateful to the universe, for sending us this little sign, a reminder from above of WHY we do what we do, and how blessed we are to have music in our lives.
While this pandemic has taken so much away from us, it will never take away our joy to making music! Forever Friends.
