Media Authorization and Release Form

The Texas Medical Center Orchestra has been featured in local and international media. If you’re a member of the orchestra or if you collaborate with our organization, you may be featured in photographs, videos, and other multimedia. TO PREPARE FOR THE AUDITION:

For the audition you are required to prepare three selections of your choice: A solo piece and two contrasting orchestral excerpts. Each selection should be two minutes long approximately. We would like to hear a fast, technical excerpt and a contrasting slow lyrical excerpt. We will be listening to your intonation, phrasing and rhythmical abilities.

If you are accepted, be aware that each orchestra member contributes an annual donation to TMCO.

We do accept people outside of the medical community however we rarely accept members who are younger than college level. We are an adult orchestra and prefer to keep it that way.
