Texas Medical Center Orchestra to play Sunday concert for Houston's Menninger Clinic

There are 86,400 seconds in a day, and in its upcoming program, the Texas Medical Center Orchestra is acknowledging the importance of every single one. 

On April 30, the city’s all-volunteer community ensemble, comprised mostly of health care professionals, is returning to the Hobby Center’s Zilkha Hall to share with its audience “The Power of This Moment.” The program, showcasing guest artist Clara Saitkoulov on violin, will juxtapose the memorable melodies of two beloved Russian composers, featuring Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto and Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2.
